About Lunch Pail Services

Down at Cashman Park the river keeps running past the boat ramp all winter, dark and moving while everything on the bank goes white and still. Lunch Pail Services keeps Newburyport dug out through those months — driveways plowed, parking lots cleared and stacked, walkways and steps cut down to solid footing. The work starts before the streetlights go off and often finishes after they've come back on, one drive at a time. Sand and salt go down where the melt runs across pavement and freezes again by dark. It's honest going: you can look back down a cleared lot at dusk and see exactly what the day amounted to.
