About Colonial West Landscaping

October on Needham's western edge, where the land rolls toward Wellesley and the fairways at Nehoiden go quiet, is mostly a question of leaves — thousands of them, and wet by Tuesday. Colonial West Landscaping mows and edges through the green months, trims whatever the mower leaves standing, and then spends autumn carrying the whole year off the lawns tarp by tarp. In January the trucks go out heavy: drives plowed to the asphalt, front paths and side doors cleared, ice held back with a spread of salt and sand. The satisfaction runs the same direction both ways — a lawn opened up to the light, a driveway opened up to the road.
