East of town the Charles slows into the Cutler Park marsh, and on July mornings the heat lifts off that water and settles over Needham's back lawns for the rest of the day. Amazing Garden & Construction mows straight into it — clean lines, borders cut sharp along beds and pavement, trimming close around posts and stone. Twice a year the crews come through for the big passes, opening the yard up in spring and closing it down in autumn with the leaves loaded and gone. When the river runs iron-gray and storms track in from the northwest, the same hands plow the drives, clear the walkways by shovel, and spread grit where the freeze bites hardest. Two halves of a year, one crew, and both ending the same way: ground you can cross without thinking about it.
