MD Tree Service

About MD Tree Service

Montague is several places at once: the falls and the power canal at Turners, the white common and old farms at Montague Center, and the pitch pine of the Plains where the sand still remembers the glacier. MD Tree Service moves between all of them, taking down hazards, opening crowns, and shaping a pruned limb line so a house on a river road gets its light back. Wind comes up the Connecticut valley fast in shoulder season, and when it leaves a hemlock lying across a yard, the cleanup is the whole job — brush hauled, ruts raked out, the ground left settled. Autumn along the Sawmill River is worth working outside for, the maples going over all at once above the water. There's pride in leaving a place looking like the season, not like a job site.
