About Fairview Landscapes & Tree Service

Around Montague Center the roads run out of the village into hayfield and hemlock, and the Sawmill River drops away toward the old grist mill. Fairview Landscapes & Tree Service mows and trims those yards through the green months and takes the driveways back from the snow once the valley turns white. A lawn cut clean against a stone wall, the border trimmed straight as a folded page — that is the part worth doing well. In November the maples let go all at once and the cleanups begin; by February the same trucks are out ahead of the school buses. Different tools, the same patch of ground, the same people waiting on it.
