Out along Providence Road the land opens toward Sutton — fields, stone walls, and a sky wide enough to show you the weather early. Mike Lynch Enterprises works that side of Millbury right around the calendar. In August it is grass: cut on schedule, edged along the drive, clippings gathered so the lawn looks intentional. In January it is snow and the wind that comes with it, drifting an open driveway shut twice in one night, so the plow makes a second trip without being asked. Cleanups bracket the whole thing, April and November. It is unglamorous work with a visible result, which is the best kind there is.
