The Ipswich River takes its slow looping way through Middleton, and Boston Brook feeds it out of the woods and pond country to the west. DiCicco Landscape & Irrigation keeps the lawns along those roads mowed and trimmed with the borders cut in, once the ground firms up enough in spring to carry a machine. Out here the yards run all the way to the tree line, so the cut is long, the edges matter, and the finish is what people see from the road. Midsummer the grass slows and the mowing lines go wide and even; by late fall the leaves pour off the forest edge and the cleanups take over. A green stretch held neat against all that wildness is a good day's work.
