Shawn's Home Improvement and Snow Removal

About Shawn's Home Improvement and Snow Removal

February in Methuen is a negotiation: forty degrees at noon with meltwater running down every sloped driveway, then eighteen degrees by eight o'clock with all of it locked solid. Shawn's Home Improvement and Snow Removal plans around exactly that — clearing down to pavement instead of leaving a skim, opening the low end of a drive so water has somewhere to go, cutting walks wide all the way to the door. Storms arrive off the coast or down from the north and each leaves a different snow; wet and heavy asks for a different pass than dry and drifting. What people notice is small: they step outside and the ground is where it ought to be. That alone is enough to build a winter's work on.
