About Masonworks LLC

From the stone tower on Mount Hood you can see how Melrose is put together: a bowl of rooftops between the Fells and the hill, with streets that tilt hard in every direction. Those grades are the whole problem in a storm, and Masonworks LLC works them — plowing driveways, pushing back the ridge the town plow leaves at the apron, shoveling stairs, landings and front walks down to a surface you can trust in shoes. Snow can be cleared twice in a night here and still want a third pass by morning; that is the job. There is real pride in a driveway squared off at the corners while it is still dark and quiet. Melrose and the towns around it, storm by storm.
