Barrett Tree Service East

About Barrett Tree Service East

The Fells begin where Medford's streets end, and on a January morning Spot Pond lies flat and steel-colored with Wright's Tower standing bare on the ridge above it. Barrett Tree Service East works that boundary between forest and neighborhood — removal of hemlock and oak that have outlived their spot beside a house, pruning to lift a canopy off a roof, trimming out the limbs hanging over a shared drive. Cold-weather work carries its own advantages: frozen ground, clear sightlines, and a tree that will not mind the cut. When heavy wet snow bends the pines down onto the wires, the storm damage cleanup starts at the driveway and works outward from there. Stoneham, Winchester and Malden are all a few minutes down the road.
