About Quick Removal Service (QRS)
There is a particular sound to a Maynard winter: a blade scraping down to blacktop while the sky still holds that deep blue that comes ahead of the light. Quick Removal Service (QRS) works that window — driveways cleared, walkways opened, the ridge at the street's edge knocked down and salted so nobody has to climb over it. Storms track up Route 117 out of the west and settle into the low ground near the river, and then the wind carves the snow into places you did not expect. Clearing is a matter of getting there and going back, again, until the ground is honestly clear. When the sun finally lands on the banks along the drive, the pavement underneath is dry.
