The rail trail runs straight out of Mattapoisett village toward Nasketucket Bay, and by late October it becomes one long tunnel of yellow and rust. Yard Boss Landscape Design works the properties on either side of that line: mowing, trimming, edging and bed work through the growing months, with cleanups carting off everything the oaks let go. When the first real storm of the year drives inland, the trucks head out plowing, opening driveways and clearing paths back to the door.
