The Veron Company -

About The Veron Company -

Sunday morning after a storm, Marlborough turns into a city of scraping shovels, and the brick tower of the old Walker Building stands over streets that are half white and half slowly emerging black. The Veron Company - runs through those mornings with plows and shovels, opening driveways and walks so the day can begin more or less on time. When the season swings the other way the same properties want mowing, trimming, mulch and a thorough clearing out at each end of the growing year. There is a durable satisfaction in caring for the same piece of ground in all its moods — buried in February, clipped and green in July. Marlborough gives its yards a hard workout, and this is the crew that puts them right again.
