About Lawn Design Inc.

Marlborough sits high for this part of Massachusetts, high enough that a late-June breeze finds the hilltop streets even when the valleys below are sitting still and heavy. Lawn Design Inc. cuts on those ridges through the long green weeks, when grass grows an inch between visits and the evenings stay light past eight. The pleasure of the job is the geometry of it: a mowing line held straight across a rolling yard, an edge trued along the driveway, mulch laid so the beds read as deliberate shapes. Every property gets left swept, with the clippings off the walk and the gate latched behind. On a clear evening the whole hillside of lawns runs one shade of green, and that is the point.
