About Deleon's Landscaping & Construction Inc.

Waitt's Mount stands over Malden, and every street running off it turns slick before anything else in the city does. Deleon's Landscaping & Construction Inc. is out on those grades in the dark, plowing driveways, cutting the berm at the apron, and shoveling the stairs that climb from sidewalk to door. Steep, narrow, parked-solid streets leave little room to put snow, so it gets placed with care and salted where the runoff will freeze again by morning. Walkways and entries are cleared by hand because that is the only honest way to do them. First light finds the hill open and the cars able to move.
