By October the water at Breed's Pond goes still and dark and the hills on the west side of Lynn burn red for a couple of weeks. Yener Landscaping and Tree Services stays on the mowers right through it, taking the last cuts while the grass still answers, then moving into leaf work as the yards fill. Edging in autumn is a small act of optimism, a defined line to come back to in April. Beds get cleared, lawns get raked and blown clean, and the property goes under winter without a mess hidden beneath it. Spring finds those yards ready, and the mowing picks up where it left off.
