MACH Masonry and Landscaping runs snow work straight through those hours — plowing driveways, shoveling walks and steps by hand, laying salt so ice never gets its grip before morning. Storm nights in this city have their own quiet: the plow lights, the scrape, the streets coming back one at a time. By the time the sun clears the horizon out past Nahant, the routes are open and the day can start on schedule. There is real pride in a drive cleared to the pavement before anybody has to ask for it.
