About Lawn Specialist

June mornings above the Ludlow Reservoir come up cool and full of birds, dew holding on the grass until the sun clears the treeline. Lawn Specialist times the week to that — mowing, trimming and edging once a lawn has dried enough to cut clean and hold its line. Ludlow yards run from tight in-town lots to long ones that end at a stone wall and a stand of white pine, and each gets the same discipline: even height, tight corners, clippings off the walk. The year opens with a cleanup that pulls out the winter's dead thatch and closes once the leaves are gone. A lawn that looks looked-after in every week of the season is the point of the whole calendar.
