About First Impressions Landscaping

A house on the slope below Fort Hill Park tells you what it thinks of itself in the first ten feet — the walk, the strip of lawn, the line where green meets brick. First Impressions Landscaping tends that first ten feet and everything behind it: regular mowing, trimming around foundation plantings, and an edge cut back sharp where pavement meets turf. Lowell light comes late over the eastern ridge in June and low and gold in September, and a lawn cut the day before takes both beautifully. Spring and fall the work turns to cleanups — winter's grit swept out, the leaves carried off before they mat down. The reward is small and complete: someone turning into their own driveway and liking what they see.
