About Snow Plowing by John Dutton LLC

In Lowell the snow sifts down between brick mill walls and vanishes into the black canal water, softening a city that water and work built together. Snow Plowing by John Dutton LLC takes on the storms here, plowing and clearing so the city can move again. Past Pawtucket Falls the Merrimack runs heavy and gray, while the blade scrapes one long, clean line after another through the white. By the time the clock tower at Boott Mills catches the morning light, the driveway is open and the walk is bare. There is a mill-city pride in that: a night's labor that leaves the neighborhood ready for the day shift.
