About Granite State Services

Fog lies low on some winter mornings, and the snow that fell overnight sits heavy and wet on the drives. Granite State Services plows those — the houses around Lexington, the long drives and the short ones, the lots that need to be open before the through traffic picks up. Heavy snow gets pushed while it can still be pushed, banks set back off the mailbox and the corner, walks and steps cleared down to the surface. Salt and sand go on the slopes, where a thaw and a hard night can make glass out of blacktop. Nothing showy about it: it is just the drive being open when the door opens.
