The Minuteman Bikeway runs the old rail bed straight through town, and in April it fills with people who have been waiting all winter to be outside. Boston Strong Landscape works the yards on either side of it — mowing the first flush of green, trimming back what the cold left ragged, and running the spring lawn cleanups that get a property out from under five months of debris. Early-season Lexington lawns come in patchy and uneven; the first few cuts are what make them look like lawns again. Getting a crisp edge along a bluestone walk on an April morning is a small thing that changes an entire front yard. It is good work to do in a town that steps outdoors all at once.
