About Nickerson Landscaping

March in Leverett is two seasons arguing — ice holding in the shade of Long Hill, mud in the sun, and Leverett Pond letting go a little more each afternoon. Nickerson Landscaping is out in both of them, pushing snow off driveways and walks while the storms still come, then swinging over to mowing, trimming and lawn cleanups once the ground firms. Steep, gravelly, tree-shaded ground makes for careful work, and careful is the whole point: a drive scraped down without tearing it up, a lawn cut close along the beds without nicking the stone. Neighbors here notice who shows up during the storm and who is still around in July. This is an outfit that means to be the same one on both days.
