From the ridge above Leominster the city at night is a scatter of lights under a low winter sky, and every one of those lights is a driveway that will need opening by morning. New Life Construction takes the storm shift — plowing, clearing walkways and steps, treating the ice that forms once the wind drops off. There is a plain kind of good in handing somebody back their own morning. Snow work is the whole of it here, from the first thin coating in November to the wet heavy stuff in March.
