About Gary O'Brien Property Services

Lee sits low in the Housatonic's valley with October Mountain standing over it, and the weather here does what the ridges tell it to. Gary O'Brien Property Services follows that straight around the calendar: mowing and trimming the lawns on the river flats through the green months, then plowing, shoveling and sanding steep Berkshire driveways once the valley fills with cold. Summer cuts get timed to the rain, which arrives hard and often in these hills. Winter work gets timed to the dark — out well before the Turnpike ramp starts humming, banks pushed back toward the marble ledges, walkways treated before anyone steps outside. In between come the cleanups, spring and fall, when the yard has to be handed back over to the season.
