Water is the constant in this city — the Merrimack shoulders over the Great Stone Dam in a white line you can hear from blocks away, high in April, glassy in August, smoking with cold in January. B.O.S. Landscaping works a two-part year against that sound: mowing, trimming, edging, mulch and cleanups from the first green to the last leaf, then plowing, shoveling and salt once the valley goes white. Winter mornings begin in the dark, with a driveway opened and steps cleared before anyone has to think about them. Summer jobs end with a border cut so straight it looks drawn.
