About Wally's Landscaping Inc

A January storm in Hudson usually starts polite and turns serious somewhere after supper. Wally's Landscaping Inc goes out into it and stays out, plowing driveways and coming back so nobody wakes to two feet of it, opening lots wide, cutting away the packed ridge the road plow throws across the end of a drive. Then the hand work: walks, stairs and entries shoveled, sand and salt where the pitch of a street runs water across a sidewalk and freezes it solid. The hillier neighborhoods hold their ice long after the main roads have gone black. Best part of the whole night is the sky turning gray at six with every driveway on the list already open.
