Wind comes across Fort Meadow Reservoir with nothing at all to slow it, and by February it picks up whatever snow is loose and rebuilds it against the nearest driveway. IMS LANDSCAPE & HARDSCAPE plows Hudson through those nights, circling back for the drifts that fill in behind the first pass. Walkways get shoveled to the pavement, steps cleared, salt and sand worked into the places that glaze over once the sun drops. It is cold, unglamorous work, and it decides whether a Tuesday is normal or spent stuck at the end of the drive. The town wakes up, and the day simply works.
