By the middle of May, Main Street through Holden Center is fully leafed out and the whole town smells like cut grass by ten in the morning. RP Landscaping is in the middle of that — weekly mowing, trimming around trees and posts, beds edged and mulched, the clippings swept off the walk before they leave. Lawns over toward Springdale sit on sandy ground and want seeding and feeding; the older yards near the center mostly want a straight line and a sharp border. Cleanups bookend the season, once in the mud of April and again when the maples let go. Nothing dramatic — just a lawn that looks right every single week.
