Hingham keeps its shape in long lines — the carriage paths curling over the drumlins at World's End, the hedgerows, the low stone walls that run out of sight into the trees. Daley Landscape works in that same idiom, cutting lawns whose edges hold true from the front walk all the way to the driveway apron. Mowing starts in the damp of April and runs until the oaks finally let go, with beds turned and mulched somewhere in the middle of it. Salt air off the harbor keeps South Shore grass green later than most places, and a well-kept yard here reads from clear across the street. It is ordinary work, done to a finish you can see from the sidewalk.
