About Crafted Grounds / The S&E Companies

Wychmere Harbor at dusk in August is a full basin of masts and reflected porch light, and the hedges above it have to look the part. Crafted Grounds, part of The S&E Companies, holds that standard at ground level — mowing, trimming, edging, cleanups at both ends of the growing season, the routine care that makes a yard read as composed rather than merely cut. When the harbor empties and the wind hauls north, the same attention goes to snow: plowing, clearing walks, sanding the slick places. A property has two audiences here, the summer one and the winter one, and both deserve a clean line. That is the whole of it, repeated week after week in Harwich.
