About Cape Organics

Harwich taught the country to farm cranberries, and in September the bogs off Hinckleys Pond still run red at the margins while the lawns nearby hold one last green. Cape Organics works those lawns — mowing, trimming, edging, the seasonal upkeep that keeps turf standing up to sandy ground and a long, bright summer. There is a pleasure in the striped pass across a yard at midmorning, and in clippings blown off the walk before the truck pulls away. Fall brings the cleanups, the leaves pulled out of the beds, the grass cut short for the cold. It is lawn care in a town that has always known what this soil can be talked into.
