About Meikle And Son's Property Management

October in Hancock is a blaze of sugar maple and beech, and as the leaves let go, the old stone walls threading the woods step back into view. Meikle And Son's Property Management keeps lawns and grounds in order in this small mountain town, carrying a yard from its last summer mowing through the leaf-heavy weeks of fall. Raking out the foliage, giving the grass a final cut and clearing beds before the first hard frost, the work readies each property for a long Berkshire winter. A Hancock yard put to bed right — leaves gone, borders sharp, the lawn short and clean against the frost — is a small act of foresight. Come April, it is the kind of yard that wakes up ready.
