About Cleds Tree Services LLC

On a July morning the causeway on Route 58 splits Monponsett into two sheets of pewter, and Halifax wakes up smelling of pond water and pitch pine. Cleds Tree Services LLC keeps the town's canopy in shape through that green stretch of the year — trimming and pruning the maples that hang low over the road, tree removal where a swamp-edge oak has finally lost its footing. Summer here builds thunderheads over the bogs by mid-afternoon, and the cleanup that follows is plain, useful work: limbs sectioned, brush chipped, the driveway open again before supper. The last pass with the rake is its own small reward, when the grass shows no sign that anything heavy stood on it. Halifax is a small town, and the yards remember.
