Stump Be Gone

About Stump Be Gone

By late winter the ballfields at Dufresne Park are one white sheet, and the pines around them carry loads that let go all at once. Stump Be Gone handles snow work around Granby — plowing drives and parking areas, shoveling walks and steps, clearing what drops off the trees a day after the storm, and sanding the refreeze. On wooded lots the second storm is always the harder one, because there is nowhere left to push the first. Getting a narrow drive widened back out to its real edges makes the rest of the winter easier on everybody. Most of it happens in the dark, and the proof is sitting there at breakfast.
