About Mcdonell’s Property Services

Some afternoons the storm starts as rain over Granby center, turns to sleet by the time it reaches the church steeple, and is snowing hard by dark. Mcdonell's Property Services works those turns — plowing driveways and lots, clearing sidewalks and entries, breaking up ice and putting down sand and salt. Ice hiding under an inch of fresh snow is the thing nobody sees coming, so walks get scraped rather than merely pushed. Down by Aldrich Lake the wind comes across open water and refills what was just moved, which means going back around. A cleared, gritted walk to a front door on a night like that is the whole job.
