About Wallace Home Services

Up in Lanesville and Bay View the granite never really left: old quarry ledge shoulders up through the lawns, and the yards are small, shaped, particular. Wallace Home Services mows and maintains them with that in mind, working around outcrop and stone wall rather than pretending they aren't there. The trimmer does the fine work along the ledge seam while the mower takes the open stretch in tidy overlapping rows. On a clear evening the sun drops over Ipswich Bay and lights the fresh cut sideways, which is reason enough to keep the lines straight. Small yards, done properly, and the north end of Cape Ann looking better for it.
