Washington Street runs the length of Gloucester, from the harbor up through Riverdale toward Squam, and the weather changes noticeably along the way. UAM Landscaping works both halves of the year on that route — mowing, edging, trimming, mulching and cleanups while things are growing, then plowing, shoveling and salting walks and drives once the ground goes hard. A December storm can lay wet snow on the shore end and dry powder up near the woods on the same night. Whichever it turns out to be, the object stays the same: pavement clear, walkways safe, nobody stuck in the morning. Then April arrives, the mower comes off the trailer, and the cycle starts over.
