About Protea Landscaping

Late spring at Stage Fort Park turns the whole greensward soft, and kids cut across it toward Half Moon Beach long before the water is anywhere near warm. Protea Landscaping keeps Gloucester lawns in that condition — mowing on a schedule, edging walks and drives, trimming, mulching beds, and cleaning up in spring and again in fall. Cape Ann's growing season starts late and then rushes, so May and June are mostly a matter of catching up with the grass. A yard cut level, edged sharp and mulched dark looks finished in a way that is hard to fake. It is a good feeling to leave a place better-looking than it was an hour before.
