About O'Connell Outdoor Services

Goose Cove holds its mist late into an October morning, and the woods road above it stays wet long after the rest of Gloucester has dried. O'Connell Outdoor Services works the shoulder seasons hardest — fall cleanups that take the leaves off in one long haul, spring cleanups that clear a yard for its first cut, and the mowing, trimming, edging and mulch filling everything between. Seeding and fertilizing go where the shade wins too often. Then it is plow work: driveways and turnarounds opened, walks and steps shoveled, sand and salt on the ice. Inland Gloucester freezes harder than the shore does, and the schedule is built around that fact.
