About Burnham Brothers Landscaping

Inland from the harbor, Dogtown's boulders sit in the scrub oak where the glacier dropped them, and the June light comes down green and speckled. Burnham Brothers Landscaping tends the lawns on that side of Gloucester — weekly mowing, crisp edges along walks and drives, trimming, bed mulching and seasonal cleanups. Yards up here are carved out of the same rocky commons, half sun and half woods-edge, and they ask for a mower that can read a slope. Cut right, a shaded Cape Ann lawn holds a soft, even color all the way to the treeline. Come October the leaves arrive all at once, and the work turns to clearing them off before the first hard rain.
