About Bussey Enterprises Corporation

Storms reach Franklin from the southwest, up over the height of land where the town sits between two watersheds, and they tend to arrive an hour before anyone downhill expects them. Bussey Enterprises Corporation keeps that hour. Plowing here means the long straight push, the clean pass along the walkway, the sand and salt laid down ahead of the first tires of the morning. There is a particular satisfaction in a driveway opened while the streetlights are still burning, corners squared, the mailbox untouched. By the time the coffee is poured, the storm is somebody else's story.
