Spring turns up at Bowditch Field before it reaches anywhere else in Framingham — the outfield greening while the shaded yards across town are still brown and pressed flat. The Zone Guys LLC gets those yards caught up: the winter mat and grit cleared away, a first cut taken, edges recut along drives and front walks. From there it is mowing and trimming week after week, through the long light of July and on into the leaf-fall. The pleasure is in the striping, the clean seam where lawn meets bed, the front walk swept before the gate goes up. Ordinary yards, kept well, all season.
