About Palmer Tree Services Inc.

At Three Rivers the Ware and the Quaboag come together and go on as the Chicopee, and the land between them is low, green and full of old cottonwoods. Palmer Tree Services Inc. works these villages — Three Rivers, Thorndike, the hill streets in between — where a tree can be part of a family's yard for three generations before anyone has to make a decision about it. When that day comes the removal is done cleanly and the ground left level and raked; more often it's trimming and pruning that keep the tree standing another twenty years. Spring here is loud with water, and it's a good season to shape a crown before the leaves fill in. Storm work is the other half of the year: limbs off a roof, a driveway opened, the yard left orderly by evening.
