About Fortuna Landscape

Storms arrive in Foxborough over the granite ridges of F. Gilbert Hills, sky going the color of pewter an hour before the first flake lands. Fortuna Landscape watches that sky the way other people watch a clock. The work is plain and it is hard: pushing back the heavy wet stuff a nor'easter drags up from the coast, cutting a clean lane down a long wooded driveway, salting the shaded stretches where ice hides under pine shadow all day. Nothing beats the moment a homeowner opens the door to bare blacktop and a shoveled path to the mailbox, the banks squared off on either side. Wind can undo an hour's work in ten minutes here — so the trucks make another pass, and another, until the storm is genuinely done.
