Saturday morning in Globe Village sounds like mowers, one street after another, and that's a sound worth being part of. Fall River Mowing is exactly what the name says — regular cutting, trimming around posts and stairs, edging along the sidewalk, cleanups at either end of the growing season. The south end runs down toward the bay in long blocks, and a route worked in order leaves a whole stretch looking squared away at once. Nothing elaborate about it: grass at the right height, lines where lines belong, clippings off the concrete. Showing up week after week is the entire point.
