Stand on one of Everett's higher blocks at seven on a July evening and the Boston skyline comes up gold on one side while the lights of the harborfront start over the water on the other. Always Green Boston - Home spends those long days keeping the grass under all that light worth looking at — mowing on a steady rotation, edging the walk lines clean, trimming the corners a mower will never reach. Leaves get gathered in autumn and the yard gets put to bed; in spring the winter's sand and matted thatch come off first. In a city this dense, on a lawn this small, the whole difference between tended and forgotten is about ten minutes of care repeated faithfully. Better to leave a yard that makes somebody pause on their own front steps.
