About Morgan Stone & Landscape Inc.

Winter mornings at Memorial Wharf, the harbor smokes, the moorings are empty, and the whole town has folded in on itself. Snow does not fall often on Edgartown, but when it does it comes wet and heavy off the water and it stops everything at once. Morgan Stone & Landscape Inc. does the snow work — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walkways and steps, spreading sand and salt where ice sets up. The measure of a storm night is simple: by the time the sky lightens, the pavement is dark again. That is the whole job, and it matters most to the people who have to get out early.
