Estate Care

About Estate Care

In the Highlands the lanes are narrow and the hedges are old, privet and hydrangea grown tall enough to make rooms out of the yards. Estate Care keeps those grounds even-tempered across the Oak Bluffs calendar — mowing, trimming and the deep autumn cleanup, then plowing and hand-shoveling once the October rain turns to something colder. There is a particular pleasure in a late-fall morning here: the crowd gone, the light low and long, the lawn cut one last careful time. Winter work is quieter still — headlights on wet gravel, walks opened right up to the door. A place looked after never announces itself; it just never looks neglected.
