About Shoveltown Landscaping

North Easton earned the nickname Shoveltown from the shovel works that ran along the brook, and the brick of those buildings still sets the tone of the village. Shoveltown Landscaping takes its name from that ground and does its work on the lawns around it — mowing week by week, trimming clean at foundations and curbs, and running the cleanups that open and close the growing season. Spring here starts damp and then turns fast; one warm week and every yard in town needs cutting at once. Meeting that week on time is most of what a route is for. The rest is doing it again, evenly, until the leaves come down.
